We did the walking tour of Humboldt State University, enjoying the outdoor wildlife areas as well as the bird and mammal displays in the wildlife buildings. Here they are at the main entrance to HSU.
Bagels at an Arcata institution: Los Bagels. Ryan particularly liked the Larrupin's mustard sauce and Austin had cream cheese and rasberry jelly. We also had a taste of the jalapeno jelly. Then Holly and I took off for a bit of shopping on the plaza with great success!
After a bit of vigorous shopping we stopped at the new organic ice cream shop and enjoyed eating our cones in the blistering sun (about 62 degrees). Holly and Michele head to a Forrest yoga class while the guys made dinner. Shopping, yoga, dinner ready when we get home. Lucky girls.
